What is Male Allyship for Gender Equality?

This keynote invites the audience to explore the concept of male allyship for gender equality. Vincent-Immanuel Herr is a HeForShe Catalyst for UN Women Germany, has worked with hundreds of men on why and how they can become effective allies for women in the workplace and beyond, and regularly publishes on this topic in German and international media. He will showcase why we need a more pronounced commitment from men against sexism and misogyny in all areas of life, how our relationships, workplaces, and societies would benefit from gender equality, why so many men remain skeptical of anything related to „gender“ or „feminism“, and how we can overcome that hesitancy and build a culture of active male allyship instead. There will be an open floor discussion after the keynote. Any and all questions and perspective are welcome.
