Steering Board

The steering board manages the day-to-day business and is responsible for the preparation of new proposals and reports as well as the proper use of the CRC's central funds for publications, symposia, guests, travel, and lump-sum funds. In urgent cases, the steering board may make emergency decisions.

The spokesperson represents the CRC externally, especially towards the DFG and the organs of the university. She or he chairs and convenes the board of directors and the meeting of the subproject leaders. He or she informs the subproject leaders about the scientific, personnel and financial situation of the CRC and prepares resolutions of the assembly of subproject leaders in this regard.
