Topics Covered

Magnetoelectric sensors currently developed within the framework of CRC 1261 aim at the detection of biomagnetic signals from the brain, heart, nerves and magneticaly labeled cells. Additional applications are considered for future funding periods according to the needs of industry. The topics are:

• Sensor concepts, design, fabrication, characterization, modeling, and benchmarking
• Sensor array building and design
• Measurements electronics
• Signal processing
• Forward/inverse problems and sensor fusion
• Medical diagnostics
• Soft skills

How to Write Your Application

Please apply by sending the following documents in one pdf document to the email address below. The pdf file should contain:

• a brief description of maximum half page that describes why you want to attend the summer school
• half page abstract about your scientific research

Participants who want to present their work can contact us to give them a timeslot for a short talk.

Participants must cover their own travel and accomodation costs. The CRC 1261 covers the activities, lunch and snacks.
