Summer School 2021 at "Haus des Sports"

From August 18th to August 20th, 2021, the first summer school after/with corona measures (see attached hygiene concept) convened at “Haus des Sports” in Kiel. Attended by a diverse cohort of participants including doctoral candidates and esteemed speakers, the event centered around the theme “Advancements in Sensor Technology and Applications.” Over the course of three days, attendees delved into various aspects of sensor development, ranging from fundamental concepts to practical applications in fields such as medicine and industry. The program featured engaging sessions led by experts in the field, covering topics such as sensor fabrication, signal processing, and the integration of artificial intelligence in scientific endeavors. Additionally, hands-on workshops provided participants with valuable insights into crafting effective presentations and visual communication through infographics. Beyond academic pursuits, the summer school fostered a sense of camaraderie through team-building activities and a city challenge, encouraging networking and collaboration among attendees.
