Focus Group F4 "Magnetoelectric Sensors"

This focus group bundles all activities on ME sensors based on piezoelectric and magnetostrictive composite materials. The investigation of all sensor concepts requires extensive characterization in terms of micro- and nanostructure, magnetic and piezoelectric properties and the resulting ME properties. The focus groups provide a platform for exchange on the different interlocking subjects relevant to the ME sensor research.

The focus group is coordinated by Dirk Meyners. The following projects participate in the focus group:

  • A1 (Magnetostrictive Multilayers for Magnetoelectric Sensors)
  • A6 (Microstructure and Structural Change of Magnetoelectric and Piezotronic Sensors)
  • A7 (ΔE-Effect Sensors)
  • A8 (Modelling of Magnetoelectric Sensors)
  • B1 (Analog Signal Processing)
  • Z1 (MEMS Magnetoelectric Sensor Fabrication)
